Parents, To save fuel cost for the district we began shuttling students from the Elementary to the Primary today as opposed to all buses coming to the Primary school. I wanted you to be aware in-case your student told you they had to switch buses today. This was a practice in the past but was halted because of the pandemic. Padres, Para ahorrar combustible en el distrito, comenzaremos a trasladar a los estudiantes de la Escuela Primaria (de 2º a 5º) a la Primaria (de K-1º) hoy en lugar de que todos los autobuses lleguen a la Escuela Primaria (de K-1º). The Health Department will do a make up flu shot clinic on November 15th for CPS students. This will be the last day students will be able to get flu shots at school. If interested - contact the Primary Office at 979-6000 if you need a form

The Clarksville School Board voted unanimously to enact a mask mandate for all students and adults while indoors at school or school activities and on school transportation. Masks will not be required outdoors or when actively participating in athletics or band. The board will reconsider the mandate at its regular September meeting.

To: Kindergarten Parents From: Mr. Mooney, Principal, Clarksville Primary School: 1. Kindergarten Open House is from 11:00 -3:00 Thursday August 12. You may drop in anytime during these hours to meet your teacher. Only the student and 2 adults are permitted. Masks are highly encouraged. 2. Girls only come the first day of school August 16th. Boys only come the 2nd day August 17th. Everyone comes on Wednesday August 18 and thereafter. 3. Our doors open at 7:30. Parents are not allowed to enter the building or walk students to class.
Due to COVID concerns we will have to change the way we have planned open house: Kindergarten will be – August 12th – drop-in from 11:00-3:00 First Grade will be – August 10th – drop-in between 2:00 and 6:00 I will put together a video presentation for Kindergarten and post to our website and social media as I did last year as opposed to having parents in the cafeteria. Masks will be highly encouraged for both parents and students at these open houses.
