Clarksville School District is pleased to announce the continuation of Project Mentor, a program designed to connect students with caring adults who are willing to invest a small amount of time each week making a positive difference.
The district is currently seeking dedicated community members who are able to volunteer up to one hour per week. Mentoring may take place during a student’s lunch or recess period or during another time approved by school administration.
All prospective mentors will complete an application and interview process and will be thoroughly screened. A background check is required and will be provided at no cost to the mentor. When possible, mentors and students will be matched based on similar interests and/or life experiences.
A Public Informational Meeting will be held Monday, August 31 at 5:30 PM in the Clarksville Intermediate School Library. Anyone interested in learning more about Project Mentor is encouraged to attend.
