ARKANSAS PUBLIC SCHOOL CHOICE
Information for the application for transfer to a NON-RESIDENT district.
Clarksville School District accepts students under the Arkansas Public School Choice Act of 2015. Parents who want their child to attend a different school DISTRICT at the beginning of a school year may complete a school choice application, which must be submitted to the NON-RESIDENT district the parents want their child to attend.
School Choice applications are not school board approved but can be denied based on availability at the NON-RESIDENT district.
The window to submit School Choice applications is March-May 1 of the year in which the student seeks to begin the fall semester at the NON-RESIDENT district. Acceptance letters will be sent to parents and the resident district will be notified in June.
Applications may be picked up at the Clarksville School Admin building at 1701 Clark Road.
