COVID-19 District Info Update

This Message is going out over our phone messaging system. If you have any questions please contact your child's principal with email or phone. We are not open during this time however, all email and phone calls will be returned. Main Office Number is 479-705-3200.

This message is important information for Clarksville k-8 students and parents. Due to the rapidly changing COVID-19 environment, paper AMI packets will no longer be copied and distributed. Instead, starting next Monday, April 6, students and parents may watch Arkansas PBS and access materials online. Arkansas PBS will alter its regular television programming to provide age-appropriate educational content for three specific grade bands (PK-2, 3-5, 6-8). The Arkansas AMI Learning Guides have been developed to support home-based instruction in association with the PBS educational television programs to promote activities that students and families may use to practice existing skills, learn new topics, and interact with one another in a meaningful way. The daily schedule beginning weekdays at 8 a.m. will be divided into the following programming blocks:
8-9:30 a.m.: Grades Pre-K-2
9:30-11 a.m.: Grades 3-5
11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Grades 6-8
These will also be recorded and available online each day after 4 p.m.
Please go to the school website, Schoology, or social media pages for more details about this programming and learning activities.
Students will not turn in any assignments to the school; these will be a self/parent checked. The school district will not make copies or distribute PBS materials. This is for the safety of our students, parents, and staff.
STUDENTS IN GRADES 9-12, AND 8TH GRADE STUDENTS TAKING 9TH GRADE COURSES WILL CONTINUE TO FOLLOW THE CURRICULUM PROVIDED BY YOUR TEACHERS VIA SCHOOLOGY.
All teachers are available to assist students/parents via email from 7:45-3:30 PM daily. All teacher email links are available online, as well as through Schoology for 6-8. If a parent has a particular need, he/she may call the school office and leave a message. We wish all our parents and students good health.
